Innovative products are the result of extensive project development and practical tests. Together with our partners, we optimize three key product properties: modularity, weight and resistance to solvents and temperature during cleaning processes. Customers can request samples to test ZELL systems in their processes.

Load tests of ZELL plastic systems

Together with ZWICK/ROELL, we were able to test our plastic systems under various aspects. The load tests were carried out in hydraulic presses. The forces displayed must therefore be converted into the corresponding weight. In addition, each compression test must be considered in the context of the positioning. Inelastic deformations can therefore occur much earlier if a workpiece carrier is only loaded at one point or bent over two rails. However, this often does not correspond to handling. The "compression/bending test on pins", which can be carried out with a uniform surface load, is therefore particularly meaningful. Our standard polyamide 6 GF 30 (reinforced with 30% glass fiber) shows optimum product properties in terms of stability:

Cleaning tests: solvent and temperature

For all component cleaning projects, we check and test the compatibility of our plastics with the solvents, temperatures and cycle times used.

Leading manufacturers of cleaning systems, such as Pero AG, have already attested to our good product properties in this area. The result of a large number of customer tests was, among other things, a separate white paper on the subject of "Washing" and "Material".

In general:
Alcohol-based solvents are not critical, PER leads to minimal discoloration - washing temperatures at 100°C are not critical, rotating and swiveling washing processes are possible, suitable for ultrasound.
