You can design your BOX exactly as you need it. Whether many small compartments or one large container, almost anything is possible with the ZELL® BOX. The washable workpiece carrier system is particularly suitable for small parts that are washed and transported in bulk, as well as for manufacturers with small batches, who can now still work in a gentle system with small batch sizes and adapt it accordingly.
Based on our carrier, designed with a solid round frame for better weight distribution, an optimum compartment system can be created using solid separating combs for particularly heavy components. The combs are fixed to the round frame and inserted in such a way that a perfectly locked system is created.
With three defined separating combs and two new Multiclips, we have succeeded in creating a flexible compartment system for all our plastic carriers and conventional stainless steel carriers. The Multiclips are locked into the carrier in such a way that the combs can be used to insert the desired compartment size as required.
The height of the systems is currently limited by the defined separating combs (heavy = 65 mm; light = 45 mm). However, the surface area of the compartments can be flexibly adjusted in a defined grid. With our established plastic handles and corner pieces, the BOX systems can also be stacked without any problems.
We currently only offer the ZELL® BOX heavy for our 300x400 mm systems. The ZELL BOX light can be flexibly assembled on all carrier sizes with the matching Multiclips (MC10, MC11). The ZELL inlay is expected to be developed for 300x400 mm and 600x400 mm KLT/VDA containers.
Building on the ZELL® plastic systems, the ZELL® BOX assembly was the next logical step in our technical development. Customers always need practical solutions for handling small batches or bulk goods. With BOX, we are building on what our long-standing partners value about ZELL: Quality, modularity and sustainable system solutions.
All systems can be stacked and combined with each other. Customers are therefore free to decide which is the best solution for the current challenge in production or logistics. All systems can then be easily converted within a very short time, e.g. for a new series.
If horizontal movements are to be locked or the components are to be separated from each other, this can be ensured on the same supports with the corresponding Muticlips/standard clips.
In the past, we have repeatedly received rejections from manufacturers who produce precision parts in small batches from batch size 1. They were also looking for a standard system, but could not decide on a clip due to the high geometry variance. With the ZELL BOX, these manufacturers now have the right alternative. Each component can be handled, washed, stored and transported automatically in the flexibly designed compartments.

With our standardized carrier sizes, we supplement existing container systems with a flexible inlay. The stackable carriers create practical storage structures in the container. Color coding is also possible.
