Design Engineer / Product Designer for AI project (m/f/d)

Project: AI-supported configuration and component development for modular container systems
Limited to 24 months (project duration)

At our Ehingen-Volkersheim site, a team of around 50 people work passionately on innovative solutions for discerning customers worldwide.

• Development and design of modular container and clip systems for internal workpiece transportation
• Preparation and structuring of CAD data (e.g. SolidWorks) for use in AI training environments
• Annotation and labeling of geometric features in close collaboration with our research partners
• Validation and optimization of automatically generated geometries with regard to function, stability and manufacturability
• Collaboration in the integration and testing of AI-supported design processes
• Close coordination with internal teams and external project partners

• Completed training or studies in the field of mechanical engineering, product design, construction, precision engineering or similar
• Sound CAD knowledge (3D modeling, assemblies, parametric design)
• Experience with technical plastics or sheet metal constructions is an advantage
• Interest in AI-supported development, 3D data processing and digital product optimization
• Analytical thinking, structured way of working and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
• Good written and spoken German
