We develop modular workpiece carrier and cleaning basket systems that are not only technically impressive, but also make a conscious contribution to sustainability: our systems are designed to conserve resources, optimize processes and offer long-term solutions.

1 Why is sustainability important?

Sustainability is part of our mission statement: we understand this to include not only ecological aspects, but also economic and social responsibility.

• Ecological: We reduce material and energy consumption through modular systems, the avoidance of disposable systems, recyclability and long life cycles.
• Economical: Our customers benefit from long-lasting systems, fewer conversions and a reduced need for spare parts - which lowers costs and the carbon footprint.

2. how we build our products

2.1 Modularity & system standard

Our systems such as the ZELL® Factory System, ZELL® Carrier, ZELL® BOX etc. make it possible to configure individual solutions with over 1,000 standard components.
The advantages in terms of sustainability:

• Fewer custom-made products, more standard components → lower development and material costs.
• Longer service life thanks to modular retrofitting and interchangeability.
• Fewer types of material in use, better recycling and reuse opportunities.

4 Our responsibility - beyond the product

Production & location

We produce in the Ulm/Ehingen region (Volkersheim) and rely on responsible production processes. Our growth is controlled in a targeted manner and production and logistics areas are used efficiently. We also generate our own electricity on site.
