The task here was to design a stable workpiece carrier system for internal transport, including cleaning. Due to the high weight of the components, a new basket was designed for the industrial company and permanently installed in our GRID PLUS transport system. This allows all parts in circulation to be transported with the same system. Only the clips have to be adapted to the respective component. What's more, only one programming is required for automation as well. The material of the entire assembly of basket and GRID PLUS is V2A, 1.4301 with electropolished surfaces. PA 6 GB 30 is used for the plastic. The components have a size of 570 x 403 x 115 mm with a maximum of 247 pieces per basket in a 25 x 25 mm grid.
