As an important supplier for SFS, we were invited again this year to a supplier workshop. This time our managing director Michele Farruggio was there himself.
In the ZOP assembly line in Hall 5, almost all of the above-mentioned suppliers contribute products to the ball screw drive (KGT) assemblies. As a logical consequence, the focus of the workshop was on the values of SFS, which were discussed in depth under the aspects of the 14 SFS Q-Basics, 5S and Lean Production.
On the first day of the workshop, we practiced taking the perspective and thus the understanding of different interest groups (customer - employee - manager). Supplemented with playful means, not only the fun but also the interest in the application of the 5S method, the 14 Q-Basics and the development of lean production were promoted.
Another highlight was the tour of the PWH (Heerbrugg press shop), which gave a closer look at SFS's manufacturing processes. The international exchange at the workshop was very much appreciated by all participants.
