After consistent standardization and constant innovation, we at Zell are very proud to have created a carrier system that accompanies our customers' workpieces from raw material to finished product. Thanks to numerous components, we can cover the complete process, starting from single clips, through our carrier plates and washing baskets, to Euro pallets. Our mission is an almost fully automated production up to the warehouse, with the highest quality standards. With the development of our transport pallets and europallet carriers, we were thus able to complete our portfolio.
The advantages of a central workpiece carrier system
When all individual components are ideally matched, many problems take care of themselves. No unnecessary stacking, adapting or maintaining of different systems. Customers have only one contact person and access to the expertise of central employees and suppliers. Existing systems are also continuously developed and optimized. This makes components better and more cost-effective in the long term.
Production and logistics always go hand in hand
Even in the machine park, well thought-out logistics are needed to combine all raw materials, intermediate products and components into the desired end product. If you rely on a sustainable workpiece carrier system even for small components, you can temporarily store and finally pick them without any problems. Most of our existing customers start with holding by a standard clip, these are mounted on carrier plates and can already transport high-precision components through production. The predefined GRID matrix makes it easy for automation components within production to access a workpiece, process it and place it back into the carrier. The matrix remains in place and can be operated analogously by the PLC (or other control systems) during the entire production process. It becomes really practical in the next step, when carrier plates can be stacked to save space or inserted into washing baskets. The component remains in the same place. Finally, fully automated quality management becomes a reality. All cell components can finally be stacked on transport pallets and Euro pallet carriers. Finally, automated goods issue and commission are also conceivable. What the customer saves is simply valuable time in the production process, everything goes "hand in hand".
